Sharon Watanabe

Sharon Watanabe is a palliative care physician who currently serves as Director of the Department of Symptom Control and Palliative Care at the Cross Cancer Institute and co-lead of the Cancer Care Alberta Palliative Care Tumour Team. She also holds the position of Director of the Division of Palliative Care Medicine in the Department of Oncology, University of Alberta. She has a research and administrative interest in early integration of palliative care into cancer care and is a co-investigator with the PaCES project.
