Gary Frank

Gary Frank, BA, BEd, RN, retired from full-time nursing in July 2022 after thirty-four years in various nursing roles. Thirty of those years were in palliative care: staff nurse, hospice manager, community consultant, acute care consultant, resource nurse. Gary continues to work occasional casual shifts as a palliative care consultant nurse and is an adjunct member of the John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre, University of Alberta. The rest of the time he spends with his wife, books, guitar, coffee, visiting his daughters and granddaughter, and talking to his 19-year-old cat (also female).
