Maxxine Rattner

Maxxine Rattner is a PhD Candidate in the Lyle S. Hallman Faculty of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Psychosocial Specialist with Canadian Virtual Hospice. She worked for a decade as a hospice social worker, supporting the practical and psychosocial needs of hospice residents and their families, including implementing a Bereavement Support Program. Currently, she writes, teaches, researches, provides clinical supervision, and does advocacy work related to palliative and end-of-life care and grief.
